Dave Dock approaching the Cadwell hairpin on his Parkin-Vincent which started life as a 1949 Black Shadow. The non-chrome areas on the pipes appear to have been aluminium sprayed? Polished cap forward of the gear indicator (here in fisrt) give access to the clutch cable. Four similar caps at the top of the splayed pushrod tubes give access to valve-clearance adjustment (zero cold, pushrods just free to spin).
