Suspension units are Girling. The Stevenage backbone and oiltank are dispensed with. <b>(Below)</b> Travelling marshal Dave Bishop airs his Series D Rapide at Curborough. The bright red finish is non-standard. Not many D's were made in non-enclosed form. Launch season was 1954. A centre stand with Rudge-type easylift handle is normal.
