The short start straight of Curborough's Twisty Sprint course and Brian Deller winds up his 1952 Rapide complete with lights and a frequently-fitted leathercloth tank cover. Circular caps at the tops of the short pushrod tubes give access to valve-clearance adjusters. Styling trims to the 7-inch brakes are owner-made extras. The Rapide churned out 45 bhp at 5,300 rpm and was rated to do 110 mph solo.
