<b>(Above)</b> A rare HRD circa 1927, with a pushrod JAP engine then catalogued. This 3-speeder came from the early saddle-tank era and is here being raced by Bill Burton in a Vintage MCC event. Note the inverted handlebar levers of the period. The J.A. Prestwich single, with total-loss oiling, is the 2-port type. <b>(Below)</b>The overvest signifies a novice-class rider when this 1975 Cadwell shot was taken. But Trevor Smith soon established himself as a rapid Vincent racer. Machine is a 1972 Comet Special. Burman gearbox.
